Hawaiian Falls announced its special events for the remainder of the Summer of Awesomeness.  

Teacher/School Worker Appreciation Week – Mon. July 24 - Sun. July 30

Hawaiian Falls wants to offer teachers one last splash before returning to the classroom.  Okay, how about 7 more splashes? Starting Monday, July 24 thru Sunday, July 30, teachers, administrators, aides, custodians (anyone with a school ID) gets free admission with the purchase of a Big Kahuna ticket.

Champions Day (Free Admission for Special Needs Individuals) Sat. Aug. 5

Champions (special needs individuals of all ages) and their family get exclusive access to Hawaiian Falls from 8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m.  Saturday, August 5 before the park opens to the public. Champions get free admission. Companion tickets (up to 4 people per Champion) are available for $10 each at the front gate before 10 a.m. And the family can stay all day long with no additional admission cost.

Heroes Week – Aug. 7 – 11, 2017

In sincere gratitude for their selfless service,
all active duty military and First Responders get free general admission by showing their badge at the front gate Monday, August 7  - Friday, August 11, 2017. Each Hero can bring up to four (4) guests for a discounted price.

Dog Days – Sept. 9 & 10

As the last day of the season before all pools are drained and winterized for the off season, several Hawaiian Falls parks host Doggie Swim events to benefit local organizations:
* Garland – 10 am – 4 pm Sat, Sept. 9 – Wags & Waves benefits Cat Matchers, Dallas Companion Animal Project, DFW Rescue Me, Feral Friends, and Legacy Boxer Rescue. The event will feature Pet Costume Contests, pet tricks, vendors and a separate activity pool for large and small breed dogs. More info at www.wagsandwaves.org
* The Colony – 1 pm – 5 pm Sun, Sept. 10 – Bow Wow Luau benefits The Colony Animal Shelter Injured Animal Fund. Enjoy swimming with your best friend, contests, games and prizes. More info at https://www.thecolonytx.gov/Depts/PARD/SpecialEvents.html
* Mansfield – noon – 5 pm Sun, Sept. 10 - Hounds at Hawaiian Falls benefits MADE in Texas Assistance Dogs, a North Texas non-profit dedicated to providing highly trained service dogs to children and adults with disabilities. Pups will be allowed in the Waikiki Beach Wave Pool, the Splashwater Reef Kiddie Pool, and the Kona Kooler Lazy River. Hounds at Hawaiian Falls seeks to honor those who serve by providing free admission tickets to veterans, active military, and first responders. These individuals can bring up to two dogs each at no cost, or come on their own.
